PREFERRED TIMING

Tell us when you would like to come in and we will build the quote around it — but final availability depends on the tuner's schedule, not just ours. Nothing here reserves a slot.
Most remote diesel sessions fit inside a 2-hour block. If the truck has a mechanical issue or it is a more complex setup, it can run longer — any additional time above the quote will be approved by you before we proceed.
Gas is tuned live on the dyno, in real time, so plan to be here for the whole session — you are not dropping the car off, and most owners drive their own pulls. Sessions are booked in two-hour blocks — a clean naturally aspirated car often fits in one, a boosted build usually wants two or more — and your quote states how many we have set aside. If we need to go past that, any additional time above the quote will be approved by you before we proceed.
Your dyno time is locked in once the tuning portion of your quote is paid.

How pricing works
We facilitate custom tuning — we are not the tuner. Utah Dyno Shop coordinates the build, provides the dyno and runs the pulls. The calibration file itself is developed and supported by our independent tuning partner, and it appears as its own line on your quote.
The tuning line is built to order for your VIN and is charged in full up front. It is non-refundable once the file build begins. Revisions are included at no extra cost on all diesel tunes.
Your car is tuned live on the dyno, in real time — nothing is pre-written and emailed to you, and you are there for the session. The tuning line reserves your tuner and the dyno, is charged in full up front, and is non-refundable once your session is booked.
Dyno time and any other work are billed separately and are due on the day. You are not paying anything right now — this sends us the information we need to build your quote.
