Cummins, Powerstroke, Duramax. The calibration is built to your VIN around the parts actually on the truck, then proven on our dyno instead of guessed at. Revisions included, every time.
There is no "add to cart" for a diesel tune, because the right file depends entirely on what is bolted to your engine. So the process starts with information, not a checkout.
Year, make, model, engine, VIN, every modification, tire size, and what you actually want the truck to do. It takes about five minutes and it is the whole foundation of the quote.
Within 24 hours you get an itemized package back — tuning, dyno time and anything else as separate lines. No bundled mystery number, no menu pricing that ignores your build.
Paying the tuning portion starts the file build against your VIN. Revisions are included from that point on. The rest of the quote is due on the day you come in.
Scheduled against both your availability and the tuner's, then confirmed on the calendar. You come to Tooele, we run the pulls, you leave with a truck that does what you asked for.
Most remote tuning sessions fit inside a two-hour block. If the truck arrives with a mechanical issue, or it is a more complex setup, it can run longer — and any additional time above the quote is approved by you before we proceed, not billed after. 801-505-9199
Plenty of places will email you a file. The difference here is that the truck goes on a chassis dyno and the numbers get checked before you drive away on it.
No tune is right on the first flash. Revisions are included at no extra cost on every diesel tune, so nobody is counting billable changes while your truck is on the rollers.
Power and torque measured on our chassis dyno, not estimated from a spec sheet. You see what the file actually did to your truck.
Turbo, injectors, lift pump, tires, gearing, transmission — the file is written for the combination in front of us, which is the part generic tunes cannot do.
Tune and dyno happen at the same shop on the same day, so you are not shuttling a truck between a tuner and a dyno facility.
If your power target is not realistic on your current setup, we say so in the quote — before you spend money, not after.
Our request form is platform-agnostic on purpose — you give us the year, engine and VIN and we work out what is possible, rather than forcing your truck into someone else's dropdown.
Running something not on this list? Send it through anyway — most modern diesel platforms are workable, and we will tell you plainly if yours is not.
We do not publish tuning prices, because a number on a page would be wrong for almost every truck. What we can tell you is exactly how the money is structured.
The calibration is built to order against your VIN. Once that build starts the work exists and cannot be resold to anyone else, so the tuning line is charged in full up front and is non-refundable once the build begins.
Paying it is what releases the build. Revisions are included from there on at no extra cost.
Dyno time, any additional labor, and any parts or hardware are quoted as their own lines and are settled when you come in.
If a session runs past its block because of a mechanical issue or a complex setup, any additional time above the quote will be approved by you before we proceed.
Utah Dyno Shop facilitates custom tuning — we are not the tuner. We coordinate the build, provide the chassis dyno and run the pulls. The calibration file itself is developed and supported by our independent tuning partner.
That is why tuning appears as its own line item on every quote rather than being folded into a single number: you can see what you are buying, and from whom.
Worth having to hand before you open the form — it takes about five minutes if you do.
Five minutes on the form, an itemized quote back within 24 hours. Revisions included, every time.
